Description
We are seeking an experienced System Administrator to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation, and maintenance of our Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) infrastructure. This includes managing the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Windows operating systems, applications, and software updates across the organization. The MECM Administrator will work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support of our IT infrastructure.
Role and Responsibilities:
Manage the deployment and configuration of Windows operating systems, applications, and software updates to client devices.
Troubleshoot client-related issues and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Deploy applications using MECM.
Manage application dependencies and conflicts.
Manage the deployment of software updates, including Windows updates, third-party updates, and security patches.
Troubleshoot and resolve MECM-related issues, including client device problems and application deployment issues.
Provide technical support to other IT teams and end-users.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of MECM infrastructure, including configuration settings and troubleshooting procedures.
Share knowledge and best practices with other IT teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Education:
Active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI if hired
Bachelor's degree and a minimum 2 years of experience in Systems Administration OR High School diploma with a minimum 6 years' experience.
Previous experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Intune is highly desired.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other IT teams.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
DoD 8140/8570 Certification Requirement:
DoDD 8570.01-M IAT II (Security+ CE, or equivalent) AND
MCSA Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 OR
AZ-104 (Azure Administrator Associate), OR
Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
