Job Summary:

Dexian is seeking a Functional Workforce Consultant (3 Openings) for an opportunity with a client located in Dearborn MI.




Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document comprehensive business requirements related to workforce management processes

  • Translate complex business needs into clear, concise functional specifications and technical designs for WorkForce Software solutions

  • Configure various WorkForce Software modules, including but not limited to policy, profile baseline, pay codes, accruals, premiums, basic scheduling, and roles, to align with Ford's specific operational requirements

  • Participate actively in the entire software development lifecycle, from initial business analysis and functional design through system configuration, testing, and deployment

  • Develop detailed test plans, execute system testing, and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet defined business requirements and perform optimally

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional and technical design documents, user manuals, and implementation guides

  • Provide training and ongoing support to end-users, ensuring effective adoption and utilization of WorkForce Software applications

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, HR, Payroll, and external vendors, to ensure seamless integration and data flow between WorkForce Software and other enterprise systems

  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data within workforce management systems through regular audits and data governance practices

  • Support production deployments, software upgrades, and ongoing system maintenance

  • Analyze workforce data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements




Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a closely related field

  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience as a functional or techno-functional consultant specializing in Time & Attendance or Workforce Management systems

  • Proven hands-on experience with WorkForce Software products, including WorkForce Software Time & Attendance, Absence Compliance Tracker, Advanced Scheduler, and/or Workforce Analytics

  • Strong understanding of core workforce management principles, including timekeeping, scheduling, absence management, and payroll processes

  • Expertise in the full lifecycle of software implementation, including requirements gathering, functional design, system configuration, testing, and deployment

  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities, with a keen eye for detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to diverse, non-technical stakeholders

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment





Preferred Qualifications:



  • WorkForce Software (WFS) Certification in Configuration / Integration Specialist

  • Proficiency with SQL, Java scripts, or other scripting/programming languages relevant to Workforce Management systems

  • Experience working within a large, complex enterprise environment, preferably in the automotive industry

  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum project management methodologies

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
