About the Role
We are seeking an Help Desk Support to join our client's team on a 6-month contract with the possibility to be extended but not guaranteed. This role is ideal for someone passionate about technology and customer service, looking to gain valuable experience in a dynamic IT environment.

We are seeking an Help Desk Support to join our client's team on a 6-month contract with the possibility to be extended but not guaranteed. This role is ideal for someone passionate about technology and customer service, looking to gain valuable experience in a dynamic IT environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, and instant messaging regarding software, hardware, mobile devices, email, and operating systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot initial hardware/software issues; resolve basic problems such as password resets, document unlocking, and print job rerouting.
- Document all issues and resolutions in help desk software, ensuring accurate follow-up.
- Collaborate with IT team members to research and resolve complex issues.
- Utilize remote tools to diagnose and resolve user errors.
- Set up user accounts and manage system access/security roles.
- Maintain effective communication with supervisors and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Two-year degree in Computer Technology or equivalent experience required.
- Four-year degree in Computer Science is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Windows PCs.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint), Outlook, Internet, and SAP preferred.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
