Job Title: Gen AI - SDLC Developer (Python / Angular / React)
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid 3 days onsite per week)
Job Type: Contract (W2 / 1099)
Rate: Competitive / Market Rate
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Python, Angular or ReactJS, and foundational knowledge of Generative AI technologies. This role is for a Charlotte, NC-based client and requires a hybrid work model (3 days onsite per week).
The ideal candidate has a solid background in full stack development and exposure to modern Gen AI tools and architectures such as GitHub Copilot, LangChain, AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, RAG, and vector databases.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack applications using Python (backend) and Angular or ReactJS (frontend)
Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services
Implement responsive, user-friendly UI/UX using modern frontend frameworks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, AI/ML engineers, and DevOps
Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews
Contribute to performance tuning and architectural planning
Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications
Required Skills:
10+ years of hands-on software development experience
Strong expertise in Python
Proficiency in Angular or ReactJS
In-depth knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native design
Solid understanding of unit and integration testing
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
Preferred / Gen AI Skills:
GitHub Copilot for AI-assisted coding
LangChain framework
AWS Bedrock and Amazon SageMaker
Experience with LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude)
Familiarity with RAG architecture
Exposure to vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, pgvector)
Understanding of embeddings and semantic search
