The Quality Engineer will provide tactical leadership for day-to-day Quality functions and work to ensure and maintain the Quality Signature for the facility.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

The Quality Engineer will provide tactical leadership for day-to-day Quality functions and work to ensure and maintain the Quality Signature for the facility.
Provide leadership to solve logistic value stream quality challenges to ensure success and customer satisfaction.
What You Will Do:
- Lead projects associated with Quality Logistics to include but not limited to QCPC, Quality Reviews, Internal Audits, CAR Management, and escape investigations.
- The Quality Engineer plays a highly visible, key leadership role in ensuring the successful execution of the Clinic Process. This position also offers an exciting opportunity to grow professionally and broaden capabilities, while leading Quality Investigations and Quality Improvement teams.
- The ideal candidate is one that is an independent self-starter, has high energy, can work well with others, and can lead by influence.
- The Quality Engineer will report to the Associate Director of Quality for the Southern Logistics Center with responsibilities that include but are not limited to the following:
- Coordinates the escape management process for logistics organization, which includes population bounding, creation / closure of inspection lots, identifying robust systemic root cause, QN task disposition and follow-up on the implementation of corrective/preventive actions by PW and/or the 3PL organization.
- Facilitation and coaching of cross-functional problem resolution team (PRTs) for escapes and Clinic Assists for high pain organizational issues.
- Foster and maintain cooperative relationship with all levels of the value stream and leverages clinic-to-clinic interaction across PW enterprise.
- Improve RCCA proficiency throughout assigned organization.
- Maintain Quality Clinic and individual certifications.
- Maintain CORE discipline certification.
- Obtain ODA certification.
- Completes internal auditor training and performs assigned audits per the established schedule.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience in Quality, Manufacturing and/or Engineering.
- Knowledge of RCCA tools and proficiency in driving robust systemic RCCA.
- Knowledge of SAP and Quality Notifications.
