SAP S/4HANA Cutover Project Manager Location: Charlotte, NC (open to relocation. )

Employment Type: Long term Contract 12+ Interview: 2 virtual rounds. It s possible they decide to fly them in to meet with the team.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Cutover Project Manager to lead and coordinate cutover and data migration activities for a complex SAP S/4HANA implementation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple SAP projects, with deep hands-on experience in cutover planning and execution. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to ensure a smooth transition from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Cutover and Data Migration workstream leads for the SAP S/4HANA implementation.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute detailed Cutover and Data Migration plans.
  • Coordinate and oversee all cutover activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines, scope, and resource availability.
  • Facilitate decision-making and drive deliverables based on a deep understanding of SAP cutover methodology and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure readiness for Go-Live, including Dress Rehearsals and final cutover execution.
  • Provide hands-on support and guidance throughout the cutover lifecycle, including risk identification and mitigation.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to ensure clear communication and alignment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager for multiple SAP S/4HANA implementations.
  • Extensive hands-on experience managing SAP cutover activities.
  • Prior experience as a Cutover Lead on at least one full-cycle SAP implementation project is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of SAP data migration processes and tools.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience in large-scale enterprise transformation projects.
  • Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology.
