- Temp-to-Hire
- Location: 100% Onsite near Miramar/Mira Mesa
- Schedule: 9/80 schedule (Mon-Thurs: 7:15-4:45; off every other Friday; working Friday is 7:15-3:45)
- Pay: $20-23/hr
- Must be eligible to obtain US Security Clearance ( and clean background)
Summary:
This position is for a Quality Assurance Inspector to provide support in functional verification and validation of incoming material and completed products. This position is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be able to ensure the quality aspects in all phases of company operations including:
- Assist the Quality Manager to ensure that finished products conform to specified requirements.
- Utilizes microscope, digital calipers, micrometer, vision measurement system, and other related equipment with optimal accuracy.
- Provides in-process/final inspection and testing as required.
- Maintains proper inspection and test records.
- Advises the responsible production personnel of the acceptability of products or materials based on results of testing and/or inspection.
- Provide solutions to technical problems and assist on special projects.
- Assist with ISO 9001-2015 audits
- Document non-conformances
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3+ years of professional experience working as a Quality Assurance/Control representative
- Knowledge of ISO 9001-2015
- Knowledge of IPC-620 workmanship
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong Communication skills
- Problem-solving skills.
- Excellent Customer Service Skills; display a professional can-do attitude
- Employees for this position must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Current U.S. work authorization
