Description
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee complex projects, ensuring they align with organizational goals and strategies. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to drive projects from initiation to completion, delivering high-quality results. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of project management methodologies, and the ability to optimize resources for maximum efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, resource allocation, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Coordinate with stakeholders to establish project charters, visions, and roadmaps, facilitating effective planning and execution.
Lead cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration and efficient project delivery.
Identify and manage risks and opportunities, while tracking progress and implementing corrective actions to maintain project timelines.
Ensure operational readiness for solution deployment and steady-state operations, including training and communication efforts.
Oversee resource availability and allocation to meet project demands and objectives.
Collaborate with third-party vendors and internal teams to achieve flawless project execution.
Promote adherence to Project Management Office best practices by standardizing processes and documentation.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring version control and accessibility for stakeholders.
Facilitate decision-making processes by raising awareness of issues, risks, and dependencies to the appropriate governance committees.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on IT or business process improvement.
Proficiency in Agile Scrum methodologies and tools such as Atlassian Jira.
PMP certification is required.
Demonstrated expertise in managing multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex business challenges.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Project, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Ability to lead meetings, drive consensus, and resolve issues effectively.
Familiarity with creating detailed status reports and managing project timelines.
