Job Details

Seeking a highly motivated 170A Warrant Officer Advanced Course (WOAC) Cloud Penetration Instructor/Writer to support the Cyber School at Fort Eisenhower.

The Army established the Cyber School of Excellence (CCoE) to train the new Cyber Branch/Career Field 17, which includes courses for MOS 17A, 170A, and 17C. The Cyber Branch primarily provides trained personnel to Army Cyber Command s Cyber Mission Force (CMF) teams. The position will provide instructional support to the 170A WOAC course.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Design and develop curriculum content for advanced scripting modules in accordance with 170A WOAC objectives.
  • Create instructional materials, lesson plans, and assessments to facilitate effective learning outcomes.
  • Design, deliver, and update the Cloud Penetration course within the 170A WOAC Course
  • Maintain classrooms, support the training and training development requirements of the Cyber School such as: determining individual critical tasks and learning objectives
  • Review/modify course materials; assist with developing training support documents including lesson plans, individual student assessment plans, POI, and practical exercises; present course instruction IAW the POI and Lesson Plan; and maintain classrooms.
  • Demonstrate model behavior and professionalism at all times

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience performing cloud-based penetrations, assessing cloud environments, and locating vulnerabilities in this environment
  • Vast understanding of how cloud environments are constructed, and the factors used to gather this evidence
  • Ability to assess security risks in Microsoft Azure and Amazon environments
  • Understanding of containers and how CI/CD Pipelines are abused
  • Understanding of how Kubernetes, Serverless Functions, and Windows Containers are attacked
  • Knowledge and understanding of how identity systems work in the cloud and the ways to attack them
  • Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI Clearance

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor s degree in Cybersecurity OR five (5) years of experience in Cyberspace Operations (CO).
