Title: Cisco Voice Technician, Junior
Location: Aurora, CO - ONSITE
Type: Contract
Duration: 12 months with the possibility of conversion thereafter
Rate: $30.50/hr - $33.50/hr DOE
Job Description:
Candidate will deploy and monitor voice/telephony devices and settings for assigned areas. Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action. Other responsibilities include:
Configures, tests, and maintains voice/telephony equipment and related services.
Manages and/or performs basic voice-related maintenance, upgrades, and configurations.
Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves basic voice/telephony problems. Assists with the selection of future voice/telephony platforms.
Ensures prompt and complete customer service.
Provides basic training to departmental staff.
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
1) Basic networking skills
2) Desktop troubleshooting skills
3) Telecom (wiring, moves, adds)
4) Any phone system experience.
Desired Skills:
1) VoIP or Cisco Call Manager
2) Willingness to get flu vaccine
