Cloud Practice Lead

Title: Cloud Practice Lead

Location: Remote

Duration: Full-Time

Cloud Practice Lead will lead and grow a cloud practice, developing cloud strategies, managing teams, and ensuring successful cloud solution delivery, often with a focus on specific cloud platforms like AWS and Azure. Experience with Google Cloud Platform is a plus.

Key Responsibilities and Skills:

• Leadership & Strategy:

• Develop and execute cloud strategies, aligning with business goals.
• Lead a team of cloud architects, engineers, and consultants, providing technical guidance and mentorship to ensure successful project delivery.
• Drive practice growth through new business development and client retention.
• Establish and maintain a high-performing cloud practice.
• Represent the cloud practice in internal and external forums.

• Technical Expertise:

• Deep understanding of cloud platforms AWS and Azure.
• Experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud security, governance, and compliance.
• Ability to identify and implement best practices for cloud adoption and optimization.

• Client Engagement & Sales Support:

• Work with clients to understand their needs and develop cloud solutions.
• Provide pre-sales and consulting support.
• Manage client relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Support sales efforts by providing technical expertise and solution presentations.
• Experience developing statements of work.

• People Management:

• Recruit, train, and manage cloud practice team members.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to team members.
• Ensure team members have the necessary skills and resources to succeed.

• Leadership:
• Lead a team of cloud architects, engineers, and consultants, providing technical guidance and mentorship to ensure successful project delivery.
• Strategy:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive cloud strategy that aligns with business objectives and industry best practices.
• Technical:
• Design, implement, and manage cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Cloud Service Providers (CSP):
• Deep knowledge and understanding of AWS and Azure partner programs to enable to leverage CSP marketplaces to sell and manage subscriptions to cloud services and software.
• Experience with CSP MAP programs is desired.
• Resource/Partner Ecosystem:
• Established relationships with trusted partners and consultants to augment the company s internal team.
• Financial/P&L:
• Experience overseeing and optimizing Cloud revenue and expenses to maximize profitability.
• Client:
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and delivering cloud solutions that meet their requirements.
• Growth:

• Drive the growth of the cloud practice by identifying new business opportunities and developing innovative solutions.

• Notes:
• Travel up to 25% -35% is required for this role.
• Previous experience as a Cloud Practice Lead is required.
