A Brief Overview
World Wide Technology (WWT) is seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief of Staff to support the CIO and the broader IT leadership team. This role is designed to bring organizational clarity, drive accountability, and ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives across the IT function. The Chief of Staff will act as a force multiplier for the CIO, enabling focus on high-impact priorities while ensuring operational excellence and effective communication throughout the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Related Field required.
- Master's degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) Related Field preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in IT, consulting, strategy, or program management roles.
- Proven ability to lead through influence and work effectively with senior executives.
- Strong strategic thinking and operational execution skills.
- High emotional intelligence and ability to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics.
- Experience with organizational change, communications, and project management.
- Excellent communication skills - ability to quickly understand intent and simplify and target messaging for diverse audiences.
- Excellent content creation skills - visual/creative, social, presentations, and written formats.
- Deep understanding of IT operations and enterprise technology environments.
- Familiarity with tools such as PowerPoint, SharePoint, and dashboarding platforms.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple streams of work.
- Up to 5% of the time Domestic Travel only.

The Chief of Staff will act as a force multiplier for the CIO, enabling focus on high-impact priorities while ensuring operational excellence and effective communication throughout the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Partners with the CIO to define, track, and communicate progress on IT strategic initiatives.
- Establishes and maintains dashboards, KPIs, and updates cycles to ensure visibility and accountability across the IT portfolio.
- Leads the preparation and follow-up for weekly IT leadership meetings, ensuring agendas are aligned to priorities and action items are tracked to completion.
- Assists IT senior leaders in coordinating cross-functional initiatives that span IT, business units, and enterprise functions.
- Leads IT communications strategy, ensuring consistency, clarity, and alignment with enterprise messaging, while partnering closely with IT leadership.
- Helps IT communicators translate complex technical and strategic content into visually engaging presentations and messages.
- Develops and delivers clear, compelling communications from the CIO to the IT organization and key stakeholders.
- Supports culture and engagement initiatives, including feedback loops, employee councils, and Great Place to Work actions.
- Drives structure and process in an often-ambiguous environment, enabling the CIO and leadership team to focus on high-impact decisions.
- Partners with HR and other functions to advance talent strategy, organizational design, and change management efforts.
- Leads or supports special projects, including vendor evaluations, strategic planning cycles, and executive briefings.
