Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Performance Engineer to join our team and lead performance testing efforts across complex enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in performance engineering tools like BlazeMeter and LoadRunner, along with a strong understanding of system architecture, scalability, and performance bottlenecks. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests to ensure our systems meet high-performance standards under load

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute performance, load, stress, and endurance tests using BlazeMeter, LoadRunner, and related tools.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, and DevOps to define performance goals and test strategies.
  • Develop reusable test scripts, data sets, and test scenarios for web, API, and backend systems.
  • Conduct performance analysis, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements at the application, database, or infrastructure level.
  • Monitor system behavior under load using APM tools (e.g., AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana, etc.).
  • Provide detailed reports on test execution results, trends, and optimization recommendations.
  • Integrate performance tests within CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation of system performance.
  • Stay updated on performance testing tools, frameworks, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in performance engineering, with a focus on LoadRunner and BlazeMeter.
  • Strong knowledge of HTTP, web services, REST APIs, and network protocols.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Groovy, or Python (for custom test logic).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Azure DevOps.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like Grafana, InfluxDB, ELK, or Splunk.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Nice to Have:

  • Certifications in LoadRunner or BlazeMeter.
  • Experience in performance testing of microservices and distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with service virtualization and mock services for test environments.
  • Knowledge of Java-based or .NET application stacks.
