Responsibilities:
- Influence outcomes and product owner decisions based on UX best practices, design principles, and research using agile methodologies.
- Collaborate with developers to implement effective and efficient solutions.
- Collect, analyze, present, and act on feedback while managing changes to UX deliverables.
- Present work clearly and compellingly to stakeholders.
- Provide timely status updates, including work progress, issues, and risks.
- Design the visual style, interface, and interaction flow of applications adhering to design standards and system patterns.
- Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, and prototypes with a focus on systems thinking and information architecture.
- Create research strategies, usability test plans, scripts, and scenarios for prototypes.
- Use research techniques such as heuristic reviews, user interviews, and usability testing to evaluate designs and ideas.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Visual Design, Library Sciences, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/training.
- 3+ years of experience as a UX practitioner in user experience design, interaction design, or a similar field.
- Experience working closely with developers in an agile environment from inception through implementation.
- Proficiency in remote unmoderated testing tools and moderated testing platforms.
- Experience with emerging technologies such as Generative AI and Spatial Computing.
- Experience in responsive, adaptive, and accessible designs.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Visual Design, Library Sciences, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/training.
- Experience with Accessibility: WCAG 2.0 AA compliance, localization, and inclusive design.
- Experience designing mobile apps for iOS and Android platforms.
- Skills, Licenses, and Certifications:
- Strong skills in modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Adobe CC.
- Advanced analytical skills for solving complex data problems and implementing sustainable solutions.
- Strong organizational skills for building flows and wireframes for complex applications.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and communicate effectively with non-technical users.
- In-depth understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and trends in web and app design.
