RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Manager in San Antonio, TX.
Summary:
The Project Manager III leads and manages multiple medium to large-scale projects across locations and subsidiaries. This role is responsible for project planning, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget. It requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage both business and technical resources.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead project planning, execution, and delivery using PMBOK-based methodologies
* Manage complex projects and programs, including recovery of at-risk initiatives
* Facilitate meetings, maintain project documentation, and report status to leadership
* Oversee project scope, schedules, risks, and stakeholder communication
* Support strategic planning, ROI tracking, and continuous improvement efforts
* Mentor junior project managers and provide training across departments
* Coordinate with vendors and manage external relationships as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree required; PMP certification preferred
* 7+ years of project management experience, including executive-level reporting
* Experience in PMO environments; healthcare or life sciences preferred
* Strong knowledge of PMBOK, business process analysis, and quality standards
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong communication and organizational skills
Additional Requirements:
* Valid driver's license and ability to travel
* Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and vendor management is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
