3-Months Contract-to-Hire

ONSITE - Louisville, GA 30434

The positions is 8-5, Monday - Friday on site, with the possibility of traveling to the client's different locations (possibly up to 3 hours away). Travel expenses can be reimbursed

Senior Systems Administrator
About the role:
As a Senior Systems Administrator, your team will maintain the critical server infrastructure that allows us to advance the way the world pays, banks and invests. You ll be responsible for deploying new technologies as well as ensuring system performance. This role will be dedicated to a specific client and work out of a client location in Louisville, GA. The candidate will need a valid drivers license and vehicle to be able to commute to other client locations as required (roughly 25% travel). Qualified travel expenses would be reimbursed via our travel policy.

CLIENT Managed IT group provides support and implementation solutions to customers throughout the U.S. Our engineers work to provide support, design solutions, hardware systems, and provide top-tier customer service.
What you will be doing:
Provide Wintel support for the hosted systems.
Support escalations from engineers for day to day and projects
Serve as the subject matter expert of customer environments
Expert in Windows Server 2012+ Administration
Expert in Windows 10+ OS Desktop administration
Provide technical leadership and mentoring for other engineers on your team
Manage and maintain customer server environments in our hosted platform, on-premise (remotely), and cloud native environments
Manage and maintain Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops as well as maintenance of Citrix backend infrastructure
M365 Migrations and Tenant Administration
Microsoft Intune Administration (including auto-pilot)
Azure AD Administration, MFA, and Single Sign On
Server Builds and application deployments
Assist with audit and vulnerability remediations for workstation and server environments as needed
Working with various teams and managed incident management teams to resolve support escalations and outages
Proactive maintenance of the hosted systems.
Expand platforms as necessary and refine processes for better environment performance
What you will need:
Strong analytical troubleshooting skills to identify issues that could cross multiple business areas/teams and technologies
Expert in independent and collaborative troubleshooting, critical thinking, and the ability to know when to escalate
Proven experience performing systems engineering and administration with large scale systems.
Extensive VMWare and virtualization skills, preferably VMware certified but not required.
Experience with PowerShell scripting to manage hosted infrastructure
Experience with server hardware, for example Hypervisor or ESXI server builds
Extensive experience with Windows Server 2016+ operating systems
Extensive experience with Active Directory management, maintenance, Entra ID, and Azure administration.
TCP/IP, network monitoring and tools and technical writing principles and practices
Strong sense of customer focus, ownership, urgency, and drive
Strong understanding of SSL, Internet (SMTP, LDAP, DNS), TLS, and other networking protocols.
Experience with deploying and supporting multi-tier applications.
Professional and responsible attitude with the ability to work without supervision.
Proven experience working within SLA s, change management processes, and an ITIL v3/v4 framework.
Excellent communication (verbal and written), follow-up skills, and paying strong attention to detail.
Deep understanding of change management process
Understanding of how to do an application deployment via the use of BigFix, SCCM, or similar toolset
Ability to participate in on-call rotation schedule
Added bonus if you have:
Experience in Linux Administration
Azure Foundations Certification or above
M365 Administration Certification
CCNA
Other Support Tools Experience a plus: SCCM, WDS, WVD, iBoss, Netskope, Crowdstrike, IIS, BigFix, ServiceNow, Zabbix, etc
