JOB TITLE : Marketing Specialist
LOCATION: Remote
TYPE: Contract (6+ months- May get extend)
RATE : $40 per hour on W2(Without Benefits)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Ideal candidate/Top skill sets:
- Project management capabilities - Run projects and deliverables timely.
- Bachelor s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field required.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in marketing operations, project coordination, or content management (is ideal). Willing to consider 2 - 4 of years.
- Detailed Oriented, high-organizational skills
- Highly desirable - Experience in indirect tax space (European VAT).
- Software/Platforms: Confluence, Salesforce, SalesLoft, 6Sense, MS Suite, and Smartsheet. If they have experience and knowledge in these systems that is ideal
- Time zone - EST preferred, CST considered.
Summary
The Product Marketing Specialist supports the Solutions Marketing team in delivering high-quality marketing content and ensuring operational efficiency across multiple work streams. This role blends content coordination, project management, and compliance awareness to help maintain the accuracy, relevance, and timeliness of marketing deliverables. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing cross-functional inputs, making them an essential connector for go-to-market success.
Key Responsibilities:
- In this role, the individual is responsible for managing and updating marketing content, including product briefs and bills of materials, ensuring that all assets reflect the most current release information, competitive intelligence, and regional nuances such as EU-specific data or VAT localization needs. They support the initial review and quality control of marketing materials before they are sent to solution marketing and collaborate with internal teams such as Sales Enablement, Customer Success, and Support to refine FAQs and content relevance.
- The specialist plays a central role in maintaining structured project tracking and delivery accountability across the solutions marketing function. They compile notes and action items from cross-functional team (CFT) meetings and communicate summaries to directors and stakeholders. They also manage project workbooks, maintain delivery calendars, and trigger timely reminders for key milestones, such as release brief deadlines or asset review cycles. In parallel, they help inventory and assess the marketing asset library, flagging outdated or missing content and helping to close those gaps.
- From a compliance and market intelligence standpoint, the specialist monitors regulatory changes and industry conversations (e.g., in LinkedIn groups or forums like CIOT), turning insights into actionable updates for the SMM team. They track competitor activity and help prepare materials for compliance-focused webinars and internal trainings.
- Additionally, the specialist offers campaign support by conducting early assessments of campaign assets, collaborating with Marketing Ops to build performance reports, and coordinating with regional teams particularly in Europe to support localized execution. They ensure the SMM team stays informed of upcoming campaign activities and can align messaging accordingly.

Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory marketing (especially EU VAT)

- Understanding of competitive analysis and campaign performance metrics
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Product Marketing Alliance Certified, nice to have (PMA)
- 2 4 years of relevant experience in marketing operations, project coordination, or content management
