Security Solutions Architect - Physical Security Systems

A newly expanded team focused on AV and technology solutions is seeking a Solutions Architect - Physical Security Systems to support rapid growth in the Chicago and Iowa regions. This is a full-time, direct hire role for a professional who's as comfortable talking with clients as they are designing Genetec-based security architectures.
If you've got solid experience in physical security-and you want to build systems that make a difference-this is the opportunity to grow into a market leader.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with sales to deliver client-centered, budget-conscious physical security solutions


• Design and document systems for access control, video surveillance, and related technologies


• Meet with clients on-site to evaluate needs, define system scope, and gather technical input


• Act as a knowledge bridge between AV and security service offerings


• Travel regionally to client sites and project locations as needed

Requirements:

• 4-5 years of hands-on physical security experience (design and implementation)


• Strong working knowledge of Genetec (preferred) or equivalent platforms


• Familiarity with VMS and access control systems from top vendors


• Understanding of IP networking principles


• Ability to consult on union-led project sites


• Bonus points for experience with Q-SYS, AV integration, or stadium/school projects
