Crew data analysis associates bring data insights to life with predictive and descriptive analytics, create meaningful business intelligence and data visualization dashboards, and learn data profiling and cloud data practices.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that present complex data in a clear and visually appealing format

Translate business requirements into actionable visual solutions using charts, graphs, KPIs, slicers, and custom visuals

Create data models using Power Query (M) and DAX to support reporting needs

Collaborate with data engineering, data analysts, and business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and validate outputs

Optimize existing dashboards and visuals for performance, usability, and scalability

Maintain version control, documentation, and best practices for Power BI report development

Troubleshoot issues with data refreshes, visuals, and user access

Stay current with new Power BI features and visualization trends to continuously improve report capabilities

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Information Technologies, Supply Chain, or Related Fields

2+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI dashboard and report development

Proficiency in building interactive visuals using bar charts, line graphs, tables, matrix views, maps, KPIs, and other Power BI visual elements

Strong understanding of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query (M language)

Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Synapse)

Experience working with data models, relationships, and calculated columns/measures

Ability to work with stakeholders to gather requirements and iterate quickly

Strong attention to detail and a passion for clean, intuitive visual design

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Power BI Service, including workspace management and data gateway configuration

Background in business analytics or related fields

Familiarity with SQL and relational database concepts

Power BI certification (e.g., PL-300)

PL-300 Power BI Certifications

Languages: DAX, M Query, SQL fundamentals

The salary range for this role is $62,000 to $85,000 or the hourly equivalent.
