Job Title : Lead DevOps Engineer.
Location : Charlotte, NC
Duration : Long Term
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and optimize our cloud
infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks. This role requires deep expertise in
AWS services, Terraform, Python, and container orchestration to support large-scale data
Operations.
Key Responsibilities
AWS Cloud Infrastructure: Architect, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using
AWS Control Tower, Step Functions, and other AWS services.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using
Terraform.
CI/CD & Automation: Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and data
deployment using GitHub Actions.
Container Orchestration: Deploy and manage microservices using Amazon EKS (Kubernetes)
and ECS (Elastic Container Service).
Security & Access Control: Implement and manage AWS IAM policies, access controls, and
governance frameworks.
Monitoring & Reliability: Set up comprehensive logging, monitoring, and alerting systems
for high availability and performance.
Performance & Cost Optimization: Continuously refine cloud architecture for efficiency,
speed, and cost-effectiveness.
Required Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
Strong expertise in AWS Control Tower, AWS Step Functions, IAM, and security best
practices.
Hands-on experience with Terraform for managing infrastructure as code.
Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and cloud infrastructure management.
Deep understanding of CI/CD processes and experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or
similar tools.
Experience in containerization and orchestration using Amazon EKS (Kubernetes) and ECS.
Solid knowledge of networking concepts, monitoring tools, and security frameworks in
cloud environments.
Experience optimizing cloud resources for performance, scalability, and cost reduction.
