Our group supports PGIM Investment Accounting Systems across all phases of the software development life cycle. We collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to deliver solutions that emphasize transformation, automation, and enhanced data and workflow efficiency. We continuously seek innovative approaches and integrate new technologies to meet evolving business needs. Team members contribute to a wide range of projects and support various systems, applications, programs, and processes.
This role is based in our office in Newark, NJ. Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where employees can work remotely and from the office, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences. This position is hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring weekly basis of at least 3 days per week.

The salary range for this role is from $75,000 to $90,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. What You'll Do
- Serve as a liaison between IT development teams and business units to support new system implementations and enhancements.
- Provide support across multiple investment management business units.
- Gather and translate business requirements into actionable terms for systems and operations teams.
- Contribute to major infrastructure projects through business analysis and technical documentation.
- Provide production support and resolve issues, including during peak periods (overtime may be required).
- Participate in all phases of the systems development life cycle (SDLC).
- Create and execute test plans to validate system functionality.
- Document software bugs and collaborate on solutions.
- Prepare communications and presentations on system enhancements and alternatives.
- Support cross-functional initiatives and take ownership of resolving production
What You Can Expect
- Identify strategic and tactical solutions to complex business challenges.
- Analyze and document business and system requirements to improve operational performance.
- Conduct interviews and data reviews to develop innovative solutions.
- Write clear business specifications, redesign processes, and create mockups.
- Anticipate project roadblocks and develop contingency plans.
- Design and implement system tests, including test case development and execution.
- Collaborate with clients and developers throughout the SDLC.
- Utilize tools and technologies such as Jira, Excel, SQL, Visio, Python, Selenium/Winium, Oracle, SQL Server, Power BI/Tableau, Power Platform, Bitbucket, Cognos, and Xceptor.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Analytics and Information Technology (BAIT), Business, Accounting, Computer Science, Finance, or Economics. A combination of business and technology studies is ideal.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience with a solid understanding of business functions, workflows, and supporting systems.
- Some investment knowledge, particularly related to investment trades, transactions, activity, positions, and associated systems.
- Familiarity with systems design methodologies, testing tools, and the interfaces, applications, reconciliations, and workflows that support investment operations.
- Experience with SQL and related tools (e.g., Microsoft Query, Rapid SQL, DBeaver).
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle; Agile experience is a plus.
- Exposure to business analysis, requirements gathering, software testing, and automation tools.
- Strong technical aptitude, problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and business insight.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, MS Project).
- Experience with reporting platforms (e.g., Cognos) and API support is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
