Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Layout Engineer to support facility layout redesign initiatives. The role focuses on validating layout proposals, optimizing material flow, and improving space utilization to enhance operational efficiency and support production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Redesign facility layouts to improve workflow, space utilization, and operational efficiency.
Validate layout proposals to ensure feasibility, compliance with standards, and production needs.
Optimize material flow to reduce waste and improve overall efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement approved layout changes.
Prepare, update, and maintain accurate layout drawings and documentation using AutoCAD or similar tools.
Manage multiple layout projects while meeting timelines and project goals.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent layout/design tools.
Experience supporting mid-scale facility layout changes in manufacturing environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline (required).

Preferred Skills

Experience in facility layout planning within automotive or industrial environments.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Familiarity with material flow optimization concepts.
