Program Manager 1+ Year Contract Irving, TX
We have an IMMEDIATE new job opening for a Program Manager to join our team and work onsite for our client located in the Irving/Las Colinas, TX area. We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the implementation of two new Point-of-Sale (POS) systems across multiple brands within the organization. This role will oversee end-to-end program delivery, including planning, execution, testing, training, and deployment, while managing a dedicated Project Manager and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of the POS implementation program across multiple brands.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Partner with technical teams working in Java, JavaScript, and cloud environments (AWS & Azure).
- Ensure alignment with Agile methodologies and manage workflows through Azure DevOps.
- Drive the program s business and technical objectives, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and rollout.
- Manage training initiatives, testing phases, and go-live readiness across all brands.
- Provide leadership and guidance to a Project Manager assigned to this program.
- Report progress, risks, and key metrics to executive leadership.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of program management experience in a technical/business environment.
- 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in enterprise-scale implementations.
- Experience managing POS or similar large-scale system implementations.
- Experience working in a Microsoft-centric organization.
- PMP certification required.
- Strong experience with Agile methodologies and tools (Azure DevOps preferred).
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS & Azure) and enterprise Microsoft stack.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
- Hands-on understanding of Java and JavaScript development environments.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
