Key Responsibilities
- Database Administration
- Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle databases (11g/12c/19c).
- Manage database instances, schemas, tablespaces, and user accounts.
- Perform backup and recovery using RMAN and Data Pump.
- Performance Tuning
- Monitor database performance and optimize queries.
- Implement indexing strategies and troubleshoot slow-running queries.
- High Availability & Disaster Recovery
- Configure and maintain Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and ASM.
- Develop and test disaster recovery plans.
- Security & Compliance
- Implement database security policies and user access controls.
- Apply patches and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Automation & Scripting
- Develop PL/SQL scripts for automation and reporting.
- Schedule jobs using Oracle Scheduler or third-party tools.
- Monitoring & Maintenance
- Use tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager for monitoring.
- Perform regular health checks and capacity planning.
- Collaboration
- Work with application and infrastructure teams for database integration.
- Support developers with query optimization and schema design.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database architecture and administration.
- Expertise in PL/SQL, RMAN, Data Guard, and Oracle RAC.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
- Knowledge of performance tuning and troubleshooting techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
A candidate s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
