Job Details

<>Key Responsibilities</>

1. Platform Setup & Configuration

  • Install, configure, and maintain MicroStrategy environments (Cloud or On-Prem).
  • Manage Intelligence Server, Web, Library, and Mobile interfaces.

2. Environment Governance & Security

  • Ensure platform efficiency, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Implement authentication protocols (SSO, LDAP, AD) and manage user roles and permissions.

3. System Maintenance & Monitoring

  • Perform routine health checks, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
  • Monitor system logs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.

4. Connectivity & Integration

  • Configure connectivity to databases, FDW, and external data sources.
  • Support integration with BI tools and enterprise applications.

5. Upgrade & Patch Management

  • Plan and execute version upgrades, patches, and hotfixes.
  • Validate environment stability post-upgrade.

6. Governance & Compliance

  • Implement auditing, governance, and compliance frameworks.
  • Maintain documentation for architecture, configurations, and processes.

7. Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide technical support to development teams and business users.
  • Resolve environment-related issues and optimize performance.
<>Required Skills</>
  • Strong experience administering MicroStrategy Cloud Environment (MCE) or on-prem setups.
  • Proficiency in MicroStrategy architecture and services.
  • Knowledge of security models, connectivity setup, and governance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with SQL databases and authentication protocols.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
<>Good-to-Have</>
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization.
  • Exposure to SDLC/Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of other BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
<>Qualifications</>
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in MicroStrategy administration.
