Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Systems Administrator to manage and support the agency s Active Directory and Microsoft 365 infrastructure. The candidate will lead efforts in system administration, cloud migrations, and security policy enforcement across hybrid environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Active Directory, including user/group management and Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
- Manage Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for optimal functionality
- Configure and administer Azure Active Directory (users, licenses, and security settings)
- Plan and execute cloud migrations from on-premises to Microsoft 365
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for on-prem and cloud services
- Implement and manage security configurations such as MFA, DLP, Conditional Access, and Identity Protection
- Perform compliance audits and access reviews to ensure alignment with IRS 1075 and other security regulations
- Utilize PowerShell for automation and administrative scripting
- Manage AD replication, Sites and Services configuration, and FSMO roles
- Participate in the implementation/configuration of SUCCESS in AWS
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (minimum education)
- 7+ years (SME level) experience with:
- Windows Server 2016 and above
- Active Directory, GPOs, Office 365 suite
- Azure AD and SharePoint Online
- Expertise in:
- DNS, DHCP, File Services
- PowerShell scripting
- Security best practices for identity and data protection
- Demonstrated experience with policy enforcement, compliance standards, and enterprise-level access controls.
