Role: Data Analyst

Client: Bank

Location: Hybrid in Charlotte, NC

Duration: 12mo+ contract

Pay: $40-50/hr

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with expertise in SQL, data quality platforms, and troubleshooting to join our team for enterprise-level data migration projects involving Collibra or Informatica. The ideal candidate will bring 5-7 years of experience in data analysis, advanced SQL querying, and familiarity with tools like Tableau or MicroStrategy for reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Migration: Work on enterprise-level data migration projects to Collibra or Informatica platforms.
  • SQL Expertise: Create jobs and advanced queries to effectively analyze and interpret PostgreSQL data, uncovering actionable insights.
  • Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Utilize Collibra on the front end to identify and resolve issues, anomalies, and data misalignments. If Collibra experience is absent, familiarity with similar data quality platforms or warehouses is essential.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze PostgreSQL data to understand its structure and convey meaningful insights.
  • Platform Support: Work on the Collibra front end to troubleshoot query issues, identify abnormalities, and ensure data quality.
  • Reporting: Support team reporting needs, with upcoming gaps requiring knowledge in Tableau or MicroStrategy.

Required Skills:
  • 5-7 years of experience in data analysis and SQL.
  • Strong skills in PostgreSQL, with the ability to interpret and analyze data effectively.
  • Knowledge of Collibra or equivalent data quality platforms and warehouses.
  • Familiarity with Tableau or MicroStrategy for data visualization and reporting.
  • Ability to identify and resolve data issues promptly, including troubleshooting queries.

Desired Skills:
  • Background in enterprise-level migrations using Collibra or Informatica.
  • Experience addressing data anomalies in platforms like Collibra.
  • Advanced reporting skills with Tableau or MicroStrategy to cover reporting needs.
