Description
We are looking for an experienced End-User Computing (EUC) Support Specialist to join our team in West Des Moines, Iowa. This position requires a skilled and meticulous individual who can provide technical support for escalated incidents, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and manage enterprise-level systems with precision and efficiency. As this is a long-term contract role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ongoing IT projects and play a vital role in enhancing end-user productivity.
Responsibilities:
Respond to escalated incidents and service requests from the Service Desk, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues for both on-site and remote users, including Windows and macOS environments.
Manage enterprise networks, including IP addressing, routing, and firewall configurations, while providing support for Wi-Fi connectivity.
Administer endpoint management systems like Microsoft Intune and Configuration Manager for software deployments and device security.
Maintain and update company PC asset tracking systems and ensure accurate documentation.
Support IT project execution, including hardware and software deployments, infrastructure upgrades, and migration initiatives.
Create and update technical documentation, such as standard operating procedures and knowledge base articles.
Provide mentorship and training to less experienced team members, fostering their growth and development.
Utilize scripting to automate routine IT tasks and enhance operational efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to enterprise software applications, including Microsoft 365 tools like Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
Requirements
Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in advanced technical support roles within a large-scale enterprise environment.
Expertise in Windows 10/11 and macOS operating systems, including advanced troubleshooting.
Proficiency in Active Directory management and group policy configuration.
Strong knowledge of endpoint management systems, such as Microsoft Intune or Configuration Manager.
Experience with enterprise networking concepts, including IP addressing, routing, and firewall configurations.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware and cloud computing platforms such as Azure.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and train team members, contributing to their growth and development.
