Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Drupal Developer to support the ongoing modernization, development, and maintenance of the Department s Drupal-based website. This role involves hands-on coding, system administration, platform updates, workflow management, and technical documentation in a secure and structured environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design, code, implement, and enhance features on a Drupal-based website
- Perform regular updates, patching, and security improvements to maintain platform stability
- Manage user workflows, roles, and permissions in a complex content management environment
- Oversee and execute custom Drupal module development
- Maintain and optimize website search functionality using Apache Solr
- Use Git for version control, code reviews, and collaboration
- Work within hosting environments such as Acquia Cloud or similar platforms
- Create technical documentation for future support and knowledge transfer
Mandatory Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in the full software development lifecycle
- 60 months of hands-on experience in administering, configuring, and maintaining Drupal websites
- 60 months of Drupal development experience (design, architecture, programming)
- 60 months of experience managing complex Drupal workflows with multiple roles and permissions
- 48 months of custom module development in Drupal
- 36 months of experience with Apache Solr for site search and performance
- 36 months using Git for version control and collaboration
- 12 months experience with Acquia Cloud (or equivalent cloud platform for Drupal hosting, CI/CD, and backup management)
