Position Overview
As a Software Engineer Manager within PNC's Technology organization, you can be based in Strongsville OH, Pittsburgh PA, Birmingham AL or Dallas TX.
This position is primarily based in a location within PNC's footprint.
You will oversee a staff of software engineers responsible for delivering low-code/no-code cloud solutions to automate business processes, extract or store data in Sharepoint & Dataverse, and create intuitive user interfaces with an emphasis on accessibility.
Technical skills:
Azure
MS Power Platform (Power Automate, Power FX, Power BI, Dataverse) preferred
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers.
Conduct performance evaluations and support career development.
Recruit and onboard new engineering talent.
Technical Oversight
Guide architectural decisions and ensure code quality through reviews.
Promote best practices in software development and testing.
Stay current with emerging technologies and integrate them as needed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Align engineering efforts with business objectives and customer needs.
Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership.
Process Improvement
Identify and implement process enhancements to improve team efficiency.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software development.
Minimum of 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, and software development life cycles.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
