.Net Architect Consultant

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Altamonte Springs, FL that is seeking a .Net Architect Consultant.

Responsibilities:
* Write and review C# code for backend services, ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability
* Evaluate and refine existing microservices architecture, identifying pros/cons and recommending improvements
* Integrate logging capabilities across services, ensuring compatibility with tools like Datadog or other observability platforms
* Collaborate with data and infrastructure teams to define KPI metrics and ensure proper logging and monitoring
* Manage and optimize Azure Service Bus usage, including queue management and message flow (e.g., email processing)
* Provide consultative guidance on architectural decisions, helping teams understand trade-offs and better approaches
* Work with various Azure services to support scalable and secure backend systems
* Document architectural decisions, service interactions, and logging strategies for internal use and future reference

REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong hands-on experience with C#/.NET development in a microservices environment
* Deep understanding of Azure services, especially Service Bus, App Services, and Functions
* Experience with logging frameworks and integration with observability tools (Datadog, ELK, etc.)
* Ability to assess and improve existing service designs with a consultative mindset
* Familiarity with KPI tracking, log structuring, and data flow across services
* Experience managing queues and messaging systems in Azure
* Frontend experience is a plus, but this role is primarily backend-focused
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
