This is a 100% remote role in Eastern Standard Time zone - preference to EST and CST zones
Seeking a talented DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, Azure, and observability tools like DataDog to deploy and manage scalable, reliable infrastructure.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7 years of DevOps experience, preferably with SRE background
  • Terraform and Kubernetes are absolutely required
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills needed to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Would strongly prefer:
  • Familiarity/experience with Azure AKS and tools like Azure DevOps a HUGE plus
  • DataDog would be great, but another tool would suffice
  • CKA Certifications would be great! (i.e. CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application)
  • Scripting (Python, Bash), Agile experience, and cloud security knowledge.
Responsibilities:
  • Designs and maintains cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes and Terraform, optimizing for performance and uptime.
  • Implements CI/CD pipelines and automates deployment processes in collaboration with development teams.
  • Monitors system performance using tools like DataDog, troubleshoots issues, and ensures high availability.
  • Manages microservices architectures for seamless communication and scalability.
  • Participates in on-call rotation to address incidents and maintain system reliability during weekdays.
  • Stays current with emerging technologies and integrates them into infrastructure practices.
