Technical Lead (Java/Spring/AWS)
Location - Torrance CA – Hybrid of 4 days/week onsite and 1 day/week remote
Contract Duration – June 2025 – March 31, 2027
Overtime – Occasionally
Travel – 1-2X/year (expense will be reimbursable)
This person will be the Tech Lead for Digital Services Development. They will be focused on delivering exceptional support to develop meaningful digital experience and strengthen our client's customer experience. This Tech Lead will support all digital application architecture, development, production support, and solutioning.

Required Skills and Expertise:

• 5-10 years of experience in developing large scale enterprise applications and backend systems.
• 3+ years serving in a professional Senior Technical role such as Technical Lead, Team Lead, or have equivalent hands-on experience.
• Strong experience serving as a technical lead experience focusing heavily on Java/J2EE and related open-source frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring Integration, Spring Data, JPA, Hibernate, etc.).
• Should be skilled in the following areas:
• Giving technical direction and mentor a group of software engineers.
• Providing technical guidance.
• Communicating directly with team members and support them in their respective tasks.
• Gathering the client requirements for the project.
• Collaborating with the Scrum Master.
• Ensuring that the team completes the software projects on time and on budget.
• Experience working with public cloud providers (particularly AWS).
• Proficient in Micro Services/backend development and building enterprise integration solutions with various application server and messaging systems (JBoss/WebSphere Application server, Kafka, Red Hat AMQ, JMS, and others).
• Familiarity with containerized app deployments (Docker, Kubernetes framework or Red Hat OpenShift), and Server Less Architecture.
• Possess knowledge in database systems RDMS, RDS, NoSQL, DynamoDB, etc.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, design patterns, current IT trends, modern technology landscape, architecture principles, and advanced development techniques.
• Well-versed in working with Agile practices and development methodologies.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
