Job Title: Workday Systems Engineer / HRIS Specialist
Location: Livingston, NJ | New York, NY | Sunnyvale, CA | Bellevue, WA (Onsite)

NOTE - Contract Role
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and configure HR systems and applications, including:
Workday HCM (Human Capital Management)
Payroll
Talent Management
Learning Management
Other related HR platforms
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to drive system enhancements and process automation initiatives.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into scalable Workday solutions.
Manage Workday security roles, user permissions, and compliance configurations.
Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
Configure and maintain Workday business processes, workflows, and integrations.
Lead Workday system upgrades, including testing and release management.
Troubleshoot and resolve Workday issues in collaboration with internal teams and Workday support.
Deliver training sessions and provide thorough documentation for end-users and stakeholders.
Stay informed on the latest Workday updates, industry trends, and best practices to continuously optimize performance.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday, Greenhouse, and other HR systems, with deep expertise in one or more modules such as:
HCM
Advanced Compensation
Absence
BenefitsPayroll
Finance
Recruiting
Preferred: Workday certifications in relevant modules.
Proficiency in:
Workday security, reporting, i
ntegrations, and business process configurations Tools such as Workday Studio, EIBs, Calculated Fields, and BIRT
Demonstrated ability to lead Workday implementations, system enhancements, and optimizations.
Experience with SOX compliance, HRIS governance, and system security is a plus.
Familiarity with automation tools for HR process optimization.

solving, and communication skills.
