- Lead and run independent triage calls, collaborating with development, infrastructure, and application teams to drive timely incident resolution.
- Monitor and analyze system health using observability and monitoring tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace, identifying patterns and recommending optimizations.
- Work with technology partners to support the migration from legacy monitoring tools (ITRS) to next-generation platforms.
- Conduct root cause analysis, create knowledge base articles, and proactively identify areas for stability and performance improvements.
- Utilize SQL and Python for data analysis, automation, and diagnostic scripting.
- Perform hands-on tasks in Unix/Linux environments, including log analysis, basic shell scripting, and data extraction from various system tables.
- Collaborate closely with Service Management and ITSM teams, leveraging ServiceNow for incident tracking and workflow management.
- Communicate effectively with traders and business users, balancing technical depth with clear, timely updates on ongoing issues and resolutions.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in production or application support within a trading floor or front-office environment (FX, Credit, or Equities preferred).
- Strong understanding of Java-based or distributed trading systems and real-time application dependencies.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk or Dynatrace (configuration and dashboard creation).
- Solid working knowledge of Unix/Linux, SQL, and Python for scripting, data analysis, and process automation.
- Proven ability to lead triage bridges and coordinate between multiple technology and business teams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience supporting high-pressure trading environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
