RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Greenwood Village, CO that is seeking a Program Manager - Mobile Services to join their Mobile Services team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team at the forefront of mobile innovation within a respected communications company. This position reports directly to the Head of Program Management and works with a tight-knit, high-performing team. This role will focus primarily on program management while supporting Scrum ceremonies within a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment.
About the Role:
As a Program Manager, you will oversee delivery efforts for backend mobile services supporting a flagship mobile app and related platforms. The team manages a large pipeline of high-value features that drive significant growth and revenue. Working closely with product management and technical teams, you'll ensure smooth, timely delivery and quality releases, including managing canary deployments and feature rollouts.
Responsibilities:
* Lead program management activities including time management, scheduling, risk, and dependency tracking
* Facilitate and participate in Scrum ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, grooming, demos, and retrospectives
* Collaborate with product teams to align on requirements and roadmap priorities
* Manage Jira boards and reporting tools to track progress and team performance
* Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams, including addressing and escalating issues professionally
* Foster a collaborative and cohesive team culture, supporting high-touch engagement across journey teams
REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven program management experience, ideally in a technical or mobile services environment
* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum frameworks and ceremonies (training available if needed)
* Semi-technical aptitude with ability to understand and articulate technical discussions and challenges
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to build trust and work collaboratively
* Experience with Jira or similar Agile project management tools
* Comfortable handling difficult conversations and delivering tough messages professionally
Preferred:
* Experience with mobile service delivery or app platforms
* Knowledge of canary release processes and feature deployment management
* Background in backend systems or middleware platforms
* Previous roles combining Scrum and program management
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
