Software Asset Management Specialist

Location: Cary, NC Hybrid
Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Project Overview:
Support SAM (Software Asset Management) program, automation processes, licensing, compliance, lifecycle management, and stakeholder collaboration.

Experience Requirements: 3+ years in Software Asset Management (SAM)
ITAM program and data/process knowledge
Strong written/verbal communication, analytical, and presentation skills
Reporting with metrics/financials/capacity/smart goals
Stakeholder and client management
Experience training and governance
Administration of ITAM (HAM Pro/SAM Pro) in ServiceNow
Finance, vendor management, contracts
Experience in healthcare and large organizations

Job Description:
Support SAM engagements and data/documentation efforts
Develop and automate software data processes (SOPs, WIs)
Coordinate with IT for SAM data source alignment
Maintain software asset/license/warranty/service/lease records
Analyze data, create KPI dashboards
Validate discovery data, address discrepancies
Help administer SAM tool and license metrics
Track compliance and assist with audits
Facilitate stakeholder communication
Stay current with best practices and trends
Attend trainings, workshops, and certifications

Preferred Certifications:
IAITAM Certification(s)
ServiceNow Certification(s)
