We're looking for a dynamic and innovative Water Resources Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. This role will focus on the planning, design, and implementation of projects related to water resources. You will be responsible for managing and executing a wide range of water resources projects including stormwater management, flood control, drainage design, site development, and water quality studies. This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, develop innovative solutions, and make a significant impact on our community's water resources.

Position Summary

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing water and wastewater projects of varying complexity, and ensuring all projects are delivered to internal and external in accordance with the agreed to scope, schedule and budget. This position also requires working with the Department Director on various business development activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Serve as a technical resource for projects and new proposals
Facilitate the necessary inter-disciplinary coordination inside and outside the Department required to execute projects
Execute the design to the appropriate level of detail in a manner that minimizes risk to the firm
Operate as a client service manager to maintain existing relationships and establish new ones
Assist the Department Director with Department and Business initiatives
Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's in civil engineering from an accredited college or university; Master's degree in Civil Engineering preferred
10-14 years of experience serving municipal clients involving planning, consulting, design, and construction services for a wide variety of services including water and wastewater planning and design
Proficiency in stormwater design is a plus, but not required
Demonstrated experience in successful project management, client interaction, and staff development
Business development experience, including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected work
PE required
