The Information Technology (IT) Asset Management Coordinator is responsible for providing support with managing company IT assets throughout their lifecycle while adhering to published processes, policies, and standards. Assigned to IT asset request fulfilment, initiating procurement activities, equipment cleaning, shipping, and receiving for IT hardware and software assets. Also assists with IT asset disposal and reconciliation activities as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists with ticket fulfillment by utilizing in-stock assets or ordering through approved vendors for new hires, break/fixes, and daily IT asset requests. Processes termination tickets according to documented procedures. Monitors, actions, and updates team assigned tickets with progress details. Reads and responds to emails and Teams messages regarding asset orders or general IT asset inquiries.
  • Receives and unboxes shipments delivered from vendors and employees. Sorts, scans, asset tags, and records IT hardware, software, and consumable assets that are received. Adds and updates asset records in the IT asset repository.
  • Cleans and packs IT hardware assets to be shipped out. Creates shipping labels and tracks packages through to delivery. Provides shipping updates to requestors and management.
  • Perform reconciliation of IT hardware assets. Reconciliation of all hardware that is in-use or in-stock. Travel to company locations to physically verify deployed hardware assets. Update IT asset records within the company’s IT asset repository based on the reconciliation results.
  • Organizes, maintains, and cleans the IT Asset Management stockroom areas.
  • Processes return merchandise authorization (“RMA”) requests for IT assets requiring replacement or repair. Completes appropriate vendor forms and coordinates return and/or repair.
  • Conducts cycle counts of consumables, hardware assets and updates the asset repository.
  • Assists with collecting, scanning, packaging, and arranging pickup for IT assets identified for disposal or recycling.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • Associate degree (AS, AA) or two-year technical certificate preferred
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience with IT Asset Management processes preferred
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience with task management processes preferred
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in procurement (purchasing) preferred
  • Must have basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Outlook, and Excel) 
  • PC skills
  • May occasionally be required to work overtime.
  • May occasionally work evenings and/or weekends.
  • May occasionally be required to travel.
  • Must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs. waist height, 25 lbs. shoulder height and 10 lbs. above the head.

Compensation

The anticipated pay range/scale for this position is $23.40 to $27.66 Hourly. Actual starting base pay within this range will depend on factors including geographic location, education, training, skills, and relevant experience.

Additional Compensation

This position is not eligible to receive additional compensation.
