Position: Senior SAP Business Analyst IT Systems (Supply Chain & Finance)

Location: Fully Remote
Contract Length: 12 months (with strong potential for extension)

Role Summary:

We're seeking a Senior SAP Business Analyst to join our growing IT organization with a focus on driving innovation across Supply Chain and Finance systems. In this role, you'll play a key part in aligning business needs with digital solutions, ensuring that our systems not only support current operations but also scale to meet future challenges. This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who enjoys working across functional teams and delivering smart, scalable technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead initiatives supporting the digital roadmap for Supply Chain and Finance by collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders.

  • Serve as a strategic partner and systems advisor, helping shape solution design beyond basic requirements gathering.

  • Participate in planning, designing, and refining workflows that enhance operational efficiency and reporting capabilities.

  • Author clear and actionable documentation for business processes, application specifications, and system enhancements.

  • Evaluate potential system changes, offering well-reasoned recommendations and trade-offs.

What You'll Bring to the Table:

  • Proven experience working with SAP S/4 HANA (private cloud) and SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) in an enterprise environment.

  • Strong understanding of inventory control, supply planning, procurement processes, and cost accounting principles.

  • Hands-on exposure to cloud-based solutions, data integration concepts, and working knowledge of integration tools.

  • Skilled at translating complex business challenges into structured system requirements and design strategies.

  • Ability to configure or contribute to SAP system implementations when needed, not just design solutions.

  • Comfortable working within regulated environments, with awareness of GxP, SOX, and software validation protocols.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, including experience in backlog grooming and sprint planning.

  • Understanding of SAP technical components, including Basis, Security, Fiori, ABAP, and CIDS.

  • Experience managing IT change requests, documentation, and deployment processes.

  • Openness to working with non-SAP technologies, such as Oracle Fusion, as part of a diverse tech stack.

  • Previous experience working with SAP support channels and navigating vendor resolution workflows.
