RESPONSIBILITIES:
A growing Kforce client in Portage, MI is seeking a permanent-hire IT Support Specialist who will be on-site 5 days per week.
Duties Include:
* Serves as the primary IT Help Desk/IT Support person handling 1st and 2nd level support in a timely manner
* Respond to all IT support calls and emails
* Setup and configure new equipment/software for users as needed
* Manage the Antivirus Server and Windows Update Server to make sure devices are clean and current
* Use remote control software to provide support
REQUIREMENTS:
* 1-4 years of experience in an IT Support or Help Desk role
* Ability to support users via phone, remote control software and via email
* Strong customer service orientation
Tools & Technology:
* Windows 10 & 11
* Microsoft 365
* iOS and Android
* Printer Management
* WIFI, VPN, Networking
* Active Directory
* Printers, Copiers, Scanners
* PowerShell
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
