Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and relationship-driven Vendor Manager (Sourcing Specialist) to support third-party risk management and vendor performance for a large financial services organization. In this role, you ll manage critical vendor relationships, ensure compliance with risk management frameworks, and collaborate with executives, stakeholders, and vendors to drive measurable outcomes. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of vendor management, risk mitigation, and strategic relationship building.
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of third-party vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with the organization s third-party risk management (TPRM) framework.
  • Monitor vendor performance by reviewing KPIs, SLAs, and contract commitments; identify and resolve issues to ensure service delivery and alignment with business needs.
  • Partner with stakeholders and executives to provide insights, influence decisions, and facilitate vendor-related discussions.
  • Conduct and support ongoing risk assessments, performance reviews, and resiliency planning for assigned vendors.
  • Assist with contract evaluations, enhancements, and compliance monitoring.
  • Facilitate executive meetings and vendor performance reviews, ensuring clear communication and actionable outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute third-party continuous monitoring activities and address escalations.
  • Support organizational goals by contributing to the achievement of 2025 third-party risk management objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior experience in third-party risk management, vendor management, or relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and vendor governance frameworks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple vendor relationships simultaneously while ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
