EDE Security & Monitoring Engineer

Position Overview

We're looking for someone who can handle both security engineering and IT monitoring. You'll help our enterprise customers implement Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) with Zero Trust security and set up monitoring systems using Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) and System Center Operations Manager (SCOM).

Main Goals

• Strengthen enterprise security with Zero Trust principles
• Set up and improve IT monitoring systems
• Advise customers on technical solutions
• Help improve Microsoft's security and monitoring tools

Your Daily Work

Security & Monitoring Tasks

• Design secure IT environments using Microsoft Defender
• Set up comprehensive monitoring systems
• Fine-tune security policies and alerts
• Find and fix security vulnerabilities before they cause problems
• Analyze logs and performance data

When Problems Arise

• Help solve complex security incidents
• Improve alert systems to reduce false alarms
• Make sure the right teams get notified about issues

Working with Customers

• Build relationships as their technical advisor
• Review system performance and security needs
• Lead training sessions and create documentation

Teamwork

• Share feedback with Microsoft's product teams
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes

Requirements

• 3+ years in cybersecurity or IT monitoring
• 8+ years working with Microsoft technologies
• B2 level English proficiency
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Clear communication abilities
• Experience with Microsoft Defender and monitoring systems
• Understanding of Zero Trust security concepts
• PowerShell scripting skills
• Team collaboration skills

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Microsoft certifications (SC-200, SC-400, AZ-500, etc.)
• Experience with cloud monitoring
• Knowledge of other monitoring tools
• Understanding of compliance regulations
