Job Overview:
The Web Developer Specialist is responsible for the system, not the content, of company material. This role leverages experience with a variety of network technologies to lead internal and external clients in developing Internet-, intranet-, or extranet-based applications. Technologies include but are not limited to C++, Java, XML, HTML, CGI, ASP, multimedia applications, database interactions, and data modeling tools.

Responsibilities:

• Research, track, and understand new web technologies to provide technical leadership in developing service applications and analyzing business requirements.
• Build applications using Internet and Windows Development tools.
• Provide written design documents, test plans, and test results.
• Manage, develop, integrate, and implement related application components, including front-end development, server-side development, and database integration.
• Play a direct role in programming, maintenance, technical support, documentation, and administration of applications.
• Establish and communicate standards to manage costs and ensure continuity of applications.
• Collaborate with outside vendors to develop tests ensuring feature functionality.
• Suggest technical alternatives and improve/streamline processes and systems.
• Complete project assignments and special projects as required.
• Conduct planning, analysis, and forecasting activities to plan projects and tasks.
• Provide leadership and guidance to other technical professionals.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
• Knowledge of multiple application development methodologies and processes.
• Understanding of data networks, web security, and debugging tools.
• Proficiency in at least one application development methodology and client-side scripting language.
• Experience with web services, data modeling, and graphic/functional design.
• Ability to manage and coordinate test activities for assigned applications.
• Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Expert knowledge in developing large and/or highly complex solutions requiring analysis and research.
• Experience leading the development and deployment of E-commerce websites, including designing web architecture and ensuring site functionality.
• Minimum of nine (9) years of demonstrated web development experience.

Pay Range: $70.00- $80.00

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
