Job Title: Data Entry Specialist - Bilingual
Job Type: W2 Contract - 12 months
Location: Maplewood, MN (Hybrid)
Schedule: M - F, 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: $ 25 - 27 / hour
Position Overview:
This position follows a variety of clearly defined procedures under general guidance, with work priorities set by a manager or supervisor. The role involves handling inquiries of moderate scope and complexity, requiring analytical skills to interpret information, assess alternatives, and make decisions with adaptability to circumstances.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review technical content documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Transfer information from data tables into formatted templates.
  • Collaborate with engineers and regulatory specialists to identify and resolve data gaps.
  • Support data management system requirements and processes, including PLM management.
  • Analyze content for alignment and reuse opportunities.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with product engineering, implementation, and support staff.
  • Investigate questions and issues to ensure process accuracy and completeness.
  • Learn and maintain departmental standards in documentation, processes, and software use.
  • Effectively use tools for information management, including presentation software, spreadsheets, word processing, and file conversion tools.
  • Utilize applicable business software to facilitate communication and information gathering.
  • Review French Canadian translations of technical content to ensure end-user quality.
  • Participate in corporate programs and initiatives, adhering to professional standards, corporate policies, and ethical values.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Primary Contacts:
  • Internal professionals, supervisors, and co-workers.
  • Communication focuses on answering routine questions and exchanging factual information within the technical discipline.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
  • Ability to read and write in French Canadian.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree or higher in Technical Writing & Communications or a science-related field.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of relevant technical writing or engineering experience in an academic and/or industry setting.
  • Proficiency with software tools such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Creative Cloud, SharePoint, FrameMaker, Adobe Experience Manager (XML Add-On and Assets), Microsoft Forms, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Familiarity with DITA/XML and willingness to learn associated processes and best practices.
  • Experience with document and data management systems (PDM/PLM such as ENOVIA, eMatrix).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential technical information.
  • Excellent organizational skills with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact professionally with diverse teams.
Education:
  • Bachelor s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
