Key Responsibilities



  • Business Process Expertise: Gain a deep understanding of end-to-end business processes and ensure seamless support for legacy systems (BASIS, AMCS, Great Plains, VERTEX, Samsara).

  • Application Support & Enhancement: Partner with our MSP to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve existing applications.

  • Team Leadership: Bridge the gap between management and development teams, translating business requirements into actionable technical solutions and reports.

  • System Maintenance: Oversee version control, upgrades, and patching in collaboration with IT Infrastructure.

  • Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage AMS partnerships to ensure cost efficiency and service quality.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process optimizations, focusing on automation and eliminating manual workflows.

  • Technical Advisory: Serve as the subject matter expert for application systems and guide adoption of emerging technologies.

  • Strategic Roadmap: Develop and execute a long-term technology roadmap aligned with business priorities.

  • ERP Implementation: Lead participation in ERP deployment, administration, integration, and optimization across all company functions.

  • Governance & Compliance: Establish best practices for system security, governance, and compliance.

  • Change Management: Drive adoption of new systems and standardized processes.

  • Executive Reporting: Provide clear updates on progress, risks, and business outcomes.




Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

  • 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles managing enterprise applications.

  • Strong understanding of business process flows, data flows, and security best practices.

  • Experience managing AMS providers and consulting engagements.

  • Proven success in ERP or large-scale system implementations (Finance, Field Services).

  • Familiarity with CRM, scheduling, routing, optimization, and rental/lease business models is a plus.

  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Knowledge of emerging technology trends and their practical application.

  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform) and integration tools.
