Deskside Support Specialist

Our client is looking to make additions to the Deskside Support Team in their Salt Lake City office. The consultant will work on a team to address desktop hardware and telephony issues, as well as resolve complex escalations that require direct attention.

Our client is looking to make additions to the Deskside Support Team in their Salt Lake City office. The consultant will work on a team to address desktop hardware and telephony issues, as well as resolve complex escalations that require direct attention.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with local teams, Service Center technicians, and business users to resolve technology issues.
- Troubleshooting desktops, monitors, remote computing, AV, telecom, new hardware deployments, and video conferencing for Windows 11, macOS, and Citrix
- The candidate will have daily interactions with end users and support teams, requiring responsiveness, tact, and diplomacy.
- The candidate should demonstrate a willingness to assist other team members and provide evidence of being a strong team player, collaborating effectively within and across teams.
Qualifications
- 3 years relevant work experience (in the financial industry a plus)
- Proficiency in Windows, macOS, and Citrix troubleshooting. The candidate should possess comprehensive knowledge and skills for troubleshooting desktop hardware and telecommunications issues.
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written) are essential for this position.
- Teamwork - This position is highly visible to end users for their technical support needs.
- Planning and organization: Due to the dynamic nature of the environment, the candidate must be capable of tracking the status of multiple tasks and completing them simultaneously while collaborating with other Technology teams.
- Flexible schedule - In addition to scheduled hours, the candidate must be available to work extended days or weekends as necessary
