We are seeking a Data Scientist / AI Engineer with a strong foundation in Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, and multimodal Large Language Models (LLMs) to join our Data Science & ML Capability Center. This is a highly research-driven role, ideal for Ph.D. candidates or early-career professionals passionate about applying AI in subsurface, geology, and geoscience domains.
You will contribute to the development, deployment, and scaling of AI/ML solutions in a high-performance computing (HPC) environment

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in STEM field (Ph.D. preferred) Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Applied Math, or related.
- Mastery in Machine Learning and Statistical Modeling.
- Expertise in Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, and LLMs.
- Strong programming in Python; experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Skilled in Exploratory Data Analysis, Data Engineering, and Model Deployment.
- Knowledge of DevOps, Agile practices, and CI/CD for AI.
- Hands-on experience with cloud deployment frameworks, infrastructure, and tooling (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
