IT Technician Help Desk
Location: Austin, TX 78701 (Onsite)
Type: Contract (Temp-to-Hire)
Job Description
Seeking an IT Technician (Help Desk) to provide front-line technical support. The technician will handle inbound calls/emails, troubleshoot technical issues, support end users of varying technical skill levels, assist with onboarding tasks, and maintain accurate ticket documentation.
This is an onsite role in Austin, TX with a strong temp-to-hire potential for candidates who perform well and fit the organizational culture.
Responsibilities
Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, and in-person
Troubleshoot issues related to Windows 10, MS Office Suite, Adobe products, printers, and desktop hardware
Perform password resets, user account setup, and hardware configuration
Support audio/video equipment and conference room technology
Follow documented procedures for resolving issues and escalate when needed
Document all tickets and track trends for management
Required Skills
3+ years of customer service experience (phone, email, in-person)
2+ years supporting end users with varying technical proficiency
2+ years supporting Windows 10, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe products, and general troubleshooting
1+ year experience with Active Directory
1+ year experience with Azure or similar cloud technologies
CompTIA A+, CompTIA ITF+, or equivalent certification
Desire to grow within the organization (strong temp-to-hire consideration)
