Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced IT Program Manager with a strong background in Healthcare IT programs to oversee multiple cross-functional initiatives and ensure successful delivery of technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing large-scale healthcare programs, coordinating across business and technical teams, and driving Agile/SAFe practices to deliver business value effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of multiple IT programs within the healthcare domain.
- Define program scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables that support business objectives.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, product owners, technical teams, and vendors to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
- Implement Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices across teams and ensure Agile maturity.
- Track project progress, risks, dependencies, and financials; drive corrective actions as needed.
- Facilitate PI Planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Prepare and present regular status reports, dashboards, and executive updates.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, PHI).
- Foster collaboration and continuous improvement across distributed teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in IT Program/Project Management with at least 2+ years in Healthcare IT.
- Strong understanding of healthcare systems, data standards, and integrations (EHR, EMR, HL7, FHIR, etc.).
- SAFe Certified (SAFe Agilist / SPC / RTE) mandatory.
- Proven experience leading Agile/SAFe programs across multiple teams.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or similar program management tools.
- PMP or CSM certification is a plus.
